Using system 'Copy' command

In 'Article Description' or in 'Article Offline' view select the text (long tap somewhere in the text causes the system popup 'Text Selection' menu to appear) and tap the system 'Copy' command.

The application intercepts the system 'Copy' command and places the selected text into the database together with the references to the feed and article. Then use the 'Clipboard' command in the options menu to open the 'Clipboard' window.

Working with clippings

'Clipboard' window appears when the user selects the 'Clipboard' command in the main menu. 'Clipboard' window contains the toolbar with the following action buttons ('Select all', 'Unselect all', 'Invert selection', 'Email', 'Copy' and 'Delete') and the expandable list of clippings grouped by feeds and articles.

Check some clippings (this makes toolbar visible) and tap the desired command button.

Clipboard Toolbar

Check some items to make the toolbar visible. The following table describes the available toolbar actions.

Icon Action Description
Select all Select all clippings
Unselect all Unselect all clippings
Invert selection Invert the existing selection
E-Mail Open e-mail application and put the selected clippings into the mail body
Share Display 'Share' dialog. Only one item should be selected.
Copy Copy the selected clippings to the system clipboard
Delete Delete the selected clippings from the database

 


Mailing selected clippings

Select some clippings in the 'Clipboard' window and tap the 'E-Mail' button. The E-Mail application will be opened with the selected clippings as the mail body. Enter 'To:' address and tap 'Send' command in the menu.

Sharing selected clippings

Select some clippings in the 'Clipboard' window and tap the 'Share' button. The following 'Share' dialog appears. Select the required application from the list and it will be opened. More details...
